Well, we went over to Darlington to see the car show at the Sweet Potato Festival. Yes, we have a festival to showcase all the things you can do with a sweet potato. Would you believe ice cream, fudge, candy, chips, fries, pie, bread and cake....all made from (you guessed it) sweet potatos. At most local restaurants, you can get a baked one instead of a regular baked potato with your dinner.
Anyway, there was a neat variety of new and classic cars. One nice man even let me sit in his new corvette. Nice, but long, and expensive. He wanted to take my picture, but I told him I stay away from that end of the lense. We talked with him for a long time about how much he loves that vette. Made me wish my MR2 was in a condition to be anything other than embarrassing if put on display in such a show. (But i'm working on it.)
The turnout was good considering, it was cloudy and looked like it was going to rain any minute all day long. But we had a good time, and saw some cool cars! Thanks to everyone who took the time to come out to the show! Mosr pictures posted below. Feel free to comment.
