All the pics can be viewed here http://UCmba97.photoreflect.com

Today we traveled to see my "Little Brother" Joey and his Viking Band in competition. It was a hot and sunny day. The schedule was long, but we enjoyed the music and took lots of pictures. Thanks to all the students who allowed us to photograph their day of hard work. In the end, Joe's band cam ehome with 2nd overall in class, but for drum major, colorguard, and several other categories. Great Job everyone!!

Meet Ginny!

Well, I'm pet sitting for a co-worker who is on vacation. Genevive is a West Highland White Terrier (Westie for short). She is funny and playful. She loves just about any toy, but especially the rope ones. She is interested in Shadow the Cat, but doesn't get too close. Ginny and Yankee (my Lab) play together nice, although they eye each others food at mealtime. She'll be here for about 10 days. Then her family will gome home and reclaim her. I'm sure she misses the two little girls she lives with. But until they come back....she's free entertainment for us!

Bandit Hobby Shop & R/C Raceway, Darlington

Sunday October 09, 2005

Gentlemen, Start Your Engines!!

Today Dogmo and I went over to the new R/C raceway to see what was happening. Bandit hobby shop has been around for a while, but they recently moved to a new location so they could build an oval track. And a nice one it is.
They were running electric 4-wheel drive touring car races. We watched warm ups, and then a couple of race heats.
The shop is very large. They stock all kinds of R/C stuff (electric and gas), cars, planes, and more. They also have a large selection of model train stuff.
Below are some of the pictures taken today. Feel free to comment!
Until next time.....
