July 2nd Family Picnic

Thanks to Mari for hosting, and to everyone who cooked.  It was wonderful to visit with everyone.  Seems like the time in Hamilton passes quicker than any other time.

Grandma meets Troy

We all took a road trip to Hamilton, Ohio.  We wanted to visit and introduce Troy to some of his extended family.  As usual, the trip was packed full, and there is never enough time to do everything and see everyone.  Luv you, Grandma.

I was blessed to witness the union of these wonderful young folks.  I hope the pictures reflect the joy of their special day.  The day was very sunny and posed a significant challenge to work with.  Shadows were harsh, and temps were very warm.  Christy and Dan didn't appear to notice, as well they shouldn't.  Congrats!

Joyous Flight

My wonderful Husband bought a hummingbird feeder.  Now I can sit on the couch, camera in hand, and watch the birds come to feed.  This is one of several that frequent the feeder.  He seemed to do a "happy dance" on this day, and I wanted to share.....

Visited my brother and newest nephew.  I don't think I set the camera down but for 15 minutes to eat a sandwich.  So fun to take pictures of new babies...

My little friend, Pocket Rocket MR2

I bought my MR2 from the original owner in 1997. We have had a good long run together. I feel it may be time to let her become the dream of another omport enthusist. In Dec 2010, she turned 200,000 miles, and still runs like a champ. I took a few pictures today, to assist in my efforts to locate a new forever home for her. Someone who will care for her, polish her, and enjoy her for years to come. If interested, email me.

new year's resolution

Well it's time I tried to get back to my photo blog again. I shoot alot, but seem to never publish my favorite. Well in 2011 that is going to change. I'm going to try to publish at least once a week this year, and with Tax season ramping up, it will be no small challenge. Wish me luck!!
