I was blessed to witness the union of these wonderful young folks. I hope the pictures reflect the joy of their special day. The day was very sunny and posed a significant challenge to work with. I bought my MR2 from the original owner in 1997. We have had a good long run together. I feel it may be time to let her become the dream of another omport enthusist. In Dec 2010, she turned 200,000 miles, and still runs like a champ. I took a few pictures today, to assist in my efforts to locate a new forever home for her. Chaps and Vest. I am 5'10" tall, 165-170 lbs, 12-14 jeans 32 inseam, 36B chest. This set fits me comfortably with silk long underwear, jeans, turtleneck and sweatshirt on underneath. I had all the ties set at the smallest setting, and the belt buckles at the smallest setting. Would fit a woman who wore larger sizes 16-18-20 etc. Length can be shortened if needed.

Chaps are zipper and snap closure. Heavy metal zippers, antique brass snaps. Length can be easily shortened if needed. Length of chap from top of zipper to cuff below last snap is 32.5 inches. The inseam on the white jeans I'm wearing is 32 inches.

Today I am sad. I have lost a furry family member. A beautiful female black lab, Yankee. She was a wonderful loving creature, who shared alot with me over more than 15 yrs. She was strong willed and battled a neurological issue which effected her mobility for 14 months. In just the past month she had visited with her canine cousins (Snake & Molly) from Slidell, and her doggie friends (Ginny & Maddie, Salem & Bandit) here in Hartsville. I'm sure now she's playing with Dino (Grandpa Lasley's Husky), Francy (Mary's bordercollie), Buddy (Neighbor dog) and Shadow (David's cat), plus chasing rabbits and running like she could no longer could do here. She will be missed very very much. I guess I just had her on loan anyway, and it was time to send her back to heaven who saw fit to allow me to borrow her for as long as I was permitted. She was a blessing.

I think about all the Christmas presents she loved to unwrap, the balloon games, learning the radio fence, the fido shocker, the landscaping fabric she "played" with, and the termites she found in Grandma Lasley's front foyer floor. Lots of good time, good travels, friendly faces and food. She always loved food...dog food, people food, treats and cookies. I know exactly where that missing fresh baked loaf of raisin bread went, even though I never found a crumb. She shared her life with many other furry friends like Shadow, Angel, Buster, Sammy, Cesar, and several foster pets. She was always happy to greet everyone and never disliked anyone. She knew many human friends and family, charming them all in her own special way. Born at Eglin AFB in Florida, she also lived in Ohio, Kentucky, and South Carolina, and visited Michigan.

Thanks to everyone who had a role in her life. Leon, for caring for her in the end, peanutbutter toast each morning, and being there yesterday; David & Peggy for caring for her her at other times; Bob M, for bringing her into my life; Craig for bringing her Sammy & frisbee in the pool; Shawn, for giving her cool kids to play with; Bob K, for giving us both a place to stay together when we needed; Mom & Dad for making her their first Grand-dog; Melody, Jet, Brett, Charlie, Scott, Roger & Fred for being amazing Yankee sitters over the last few years; other family members who welcomed my furry 4 footed child into their homes, and lastly to the Drs at Anderson who helped her stay healthy and happy as long as she could, and made the way home peaceful when it was time.

We miss you pretty girl, Yankee.

Well, we (Leon and I) are going to the Dragon again this year. It's the 2 year anniversary of when Leon and I met for the first time. I can't wait to take some pictures there. Last year a guy wrecked his sport bike right in front of me. Thank goodness he was ok.
We have a house rented again this year. It should be fun for all. I'll post up after we get back with some hi-lites.

As you all are likely aware, Leon proposed and I said yes. It will be a small private family ceremony, likely beachside and barefoot.

I have listed my house in Hartsville, SC for sale. I've shown it alot, but no offers yet. If it sells, we'll move forward with our early retirement plan. If not, we'll list again next summer. We sure got alot of things fixed getting ready to list. It looks very good right now, if I do say so myself.

I got an "interest feeler" email from classmates at Hamilton High about our 20 year reunion next summer. I can't believe it's been 20 yrs. I'd like to head north next summer for a reunion, so long at it's not too expensive, and sounds like a fun, casual event (versus a dog and pony show). With gas prices what they are, travel costs will be a factor in the decision to go. But I'm open to the possibility.

OK, well enough for now. I need to go list some things on Ebay. I list under UCmba97 and Leon lists under Intruder98 Check out our auctions sometime.

Let's Cruise

Hey Ya'll,
Leon and I have booked our vacation this year, a Princess cruise. We have cruised before, and think it would be fun to have some friends and or family along. If anyone wants to go on the same cruise, the more the merrier. Here's the details. Princess lines, Nov 24th thru Dec 1st, Departs from Ft. Lauderdale, going to Jamaica, Grand Cayman, Mexico and the Bahamas. Interior rooms are very reasonably priced, but we opted for a balcony (veranda) room. We booked thru USAA travel, but you can book with any travel agent, direct thru Princess, or via online places like travelocity. Let me know if you need any help booking. We chose the early dinner seating time.
So let's cruise!! I'm so looking forward to a week relaxing, enjoying drinks with little umbrellas in them!!

Well I know it's been a while since I posted any pictures. Dogmo and I have been taking many, but since bloggerbot went away, I've found it take alot longer to post photos. No excuse though. I need to post up.

Hello Family & Friends,

Sorry I have been so quiet lately. Corporate State Income Tax filing season descended on me, and then life events have kept me busy. I did take a real vacation this year, and will post pictures soon. I took a 10 day 2600 mile motorcycle adventure to Okmulgee Oklahoma and back, following the Trail of Tears. It was AMAZING! I put 2 wheels in several new states including KY, MO, AR, AL, OK, IL and of course SC, NC, & TN. The route home included Hwy 7 thru the Ozark Mountains. We passed by a motorcycle resort called The Hubb. I hope to go again next year.

I currently don't have internet at home, so posting will be lite until I rectify that situation. I hope to reconnect in November. Funny, I don't miss cable TV in the slightest. I'll have alot of pictures to post, as I've been riding all over...Myrtle Beach Fall rally, Blue Ridge Parkway, Walterboro Marching Band Competition, etc.

Anyway, all is well. I'm happier than I have ever been. I will be attending a training in good old Cincinnati in mid November. Hope to come up early to visit with family and friends.

A course was set up with tubes, a product we manufacture. The drill was timed and the amount of liquid left in the hopper was weighted at the end of the course. The picture shows a tube falling. Points were deducted when a tube was knocked over, or a safety violation was made. It was a great event!
